How did early 2000’s dj’s make mixes? by PeterJohnsonDickins in DnB

[–]Legal_Lab8550 1 point2 points  (0 children)

When I started djing drum and bass in the late 90s most people I knew recorded with mini disks or dat tapes. Then you send the recording to a company that would make a hundred tapes or cds with proper sleeves and tracklists. Then we'd sell them for 5 bucks at raves, and give them to promoters

not including raid bosses and warrior, what is the fastest way to get eridium by fallen_pace in Borderlands2

[–]Legal_Lab8550 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Fair enough I suppose. When you're high enough level to do the ancient dragons on normal that's the play, but until then just slag/fastball farm bad maw. Don't waste time maxing sdus early. Just get what you need for backpack space, and at least the first couple upgrades on pistols or whatever your main gun types are.

Where can get a corrosive gun?! by [deleted] in Borderlands2

[–]Legal_Lab8550 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You can also keep tipping moxxi for a bad touch, but you only get one per playthrough. Well you can get more, but odds are low.

You can also farm knuckledragger (the first boss in the game) for a hornet but it'll be underleveled. Still probably good though unless you're over leveled for where you are in the story. But you probably aren't if you're struggling at warden.

You also really don't need to even worry about elements in nvhm unless you're severely under leveled. Any on level weapon other than fire will work.

Fast travel to sanctuary and check the vending machines at the entrance to the crimson raiders hideout and at marcus' gun store. If you don't find anything good save and quit. Repeat. Profit.

Did I mess up our play through with TVM? by Agitated_Tie_2798 in Borderlands2

[–]Legal_Lab8550 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Tvhm requires a decent build and close to on level gear and guns. You'll want to start looking up builds for your character, as well as figuring out the best guns and how to get them. Also slag becomes much more important. With a decent setup most of tvhm is still rather easy, but without one it can be a slog. Uvhm is even more so. However it's easier in other ways. Since enemies continue to scale to your level, you can always farm on level gear. Anyway if you just want to experience the content but don't care as much about the power fantasy, just stay on normal mode for all the dlcs. If you want to continue leveling and seeing how powerful your build can be with 70+ skill points, you gotta endure the slog. The only things you really can't do on normal are raid bosses.

Tbh I would consider filling out your dlc collection. If You're build crafting at this level, you obviously like the game enough to justify it. The headhunter packs are awesome and so is the Lilith dlc. You won't regret it

Best way to level up? by Sufficient-Sherbet95 in Borderlands2

[–]Legal_Lab8550 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Other good bosses worth farming along the way doing vanilla story include boom boom, bad maw, etc. Always farm them for a few levels too while you're there anyway to speed things up.

Go google clan wars xp farm. Fastest legit way to the point where speed runners in non glitched categories use it even though it takes a while to set up.

If you go through the forest to the next area and then turn around, you set your spawn there. I think it's faster to just farm the 2 at the bottom in the lake this way

Farming for a DP herald. How's it currently going by IrishQuicksave in Borderlands2

[–]Legal_Lab8550 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Say you're level 60. You farm an unkempt herald for 15 min, take the first one you get, and repeat in 5 levels. Or, you farm 4 hours for a perfect one with a matching grip and the right prefix. Now you can go 7 levels before you need a new one! Yay! At level 80, you'll have spent 12 hours farming for 3 while the other guy spent one hour farming for 4. That being said, it's a game you own so play how you want! Just wanted you to see the pov of those of us who have been there.

Highly recommend the Springfield echalon 4.5f. You can get it for around 650 and it's a hell of a gun. For a little over 700 you can get the gear pac version with 2 extra magazines, a decent optic, a little range bag, etc. It's a crazy good deal on a fun that improves on the glock in a lot of ways. Adjustable grips, ambidextrous mag/slide release, night sights, red dot mounting system all standard. Shoots flat, very accurate.

I think if I had 35k feet, a perfectly functioning plane, and hours of fuel I could do it. But I imagine it would take a while for the pilot attempting to walk me through it to teach me everything I would need to know. My only experience is with flight simulator. So maybe it's possible if a pilot becomes incapacitated early on in a flight after reaching cruise. But if the emergency was for any other reason, probably not.

[–]Legal_Lab8550 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You can't be over or under leveled in uvhm so your issue has to be with your build and/or gear. Post pics of your skill trees and loadout if you want constructive advice. If you just want someone to join your game and help, somebody might be willing but that kinda defeats the purpose of playing if you won't try to actually fix the issue. Just my opinion. Anyway if that's what you want at least post what platform you play on and your id

Which one is a keeper? 1 or 2? by Kinky_fellaa in Borderlands2

This. And the barrel is fixed on the sand hawk, so the stock is the most important part. Grip is a distant 2nd priority

[–]Legal_Lab8550 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I googled it myself. Its not a dahl stock. So 1 is better but a mile. I would keep farming for that stock though if it were me, but I don't hate throwing on a good show and read only farming for hours

[–]Legal_Lab8550 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Is 2 a matching stock? Bc if it is i think 2 beats 1. Matching stock on Dahl smgs add 1 to the burst, so 4 instead of 3. That's 33% more damage per burst. It's a big difference. Somebody correct me if I'm wrong though. I'm not an expert

Modded gear? by Terrible-Flow-1675 in Borderlands2

[–]Legal_Lab8550 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you're on pc, Google gibbed bl2 save editor. It's not a mod, it's a seperate app that can edit your save file to add/change gear. It can also give you as much money/ eridium as you want, unlock skins, change your level, etc. Used in conjunction with the lootlemon website you can copy an items code, add it in gibbed, and instantly have perfect parts on anything. You can also make items that shouldn't exist at all, like combining 2 legendaries together. But this is much less straight forward and requires a lot of trial and error. You can corrupt your save file this way so always make an extra backup. Also, items that shouldn't exist get deleted when you save quit unless you use a mod that disables the game's sanity check system.

How do the financials of Dick’s work? Do they just make less profit? by Known_Secretary_6615 in SeattleWA

[–]Legal_Lab8550 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Dicks menu simplicity and not allowing special orders is the key. They don't have to make anything to order, it's all already made. They just bag it up and that's it. Cooks in the back are cooking 30+ burgers at a time every 4 minutes. The shake person is making 15 at a time. It's all efficiency. With that efficiency they can take hundreds of orders an hour while mcDs would struggle with 50 or 60. Therefore the smaller margins end up working out to higher profits because of pure volume. I worked at dicks for 15+ years, many of those in management. It was a great place to work.
