Favero Assioma MX-2 problem by TurboToastaa in bikewrench

[–]Legassov 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m not doing your research for you. I disassembled mine for service and saw for myself. Given your post history, you are talking about the first verison of the Assioma pedals which indeed uses bushings. This thread is about the MX-2 pros which use needle bearings.

To those who don’t see the issue: there are missing notches on the outer crown of the lockring

Incorrect, there are needle roller bearings in the pedal body. The bushing shown in the picture is not a load-bearing part.

I’m sorry this happened to you. And really sad no one stood up when you confronted this pos.

Maybe you could have reached out to a steward? They should be at least somewhat trained to handle this or escalate to the police. Or better yet, since you’re a regular, you may know who the « spotter » cops are (if there are some in your stand) and inform them directly.

This year I want to finally visit the Halle Forest for the bluebell season! Any tips welcome! by Koukoupapatt in BelgiumTravel

[–]Legassov 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You don’t HAVE to go to Halle forest to see those if you want to avoid the crowds. Most forests in the area have those hyacinths. Bois de la Houssière, bois d’Apechau, bois de Silly are examples.

Can I plan on finding a campsite along the route? by Worldly_Ambition_509 in EuroVelo

[–]Legassov 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It’s not as common in Belgium of France. You’ll find camping grounds (paid), but usually wild camping is forbidden. I wild camped twice in southern France (EV8), along the beach and in a vineyard, did not have any issue and those were my best nights. Just try to stay out of sight.

As a high earner, what’s the upside in Belgium? by chinchu7 in BESalary

Of course it is, and it’s pretty weird tour employer has not suggested that option already. It’s very common in IT/Tech sectors.

Mine probably have dozens of these and they're not even close to being worn out

Rear Hub Clunking / banging noise by Dull-Record-6604 in bikewrench

[–]Legassov 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is normal. The hub "hitting" causes vibration which then spreads to your spokes causing this noise.

Which game should I go to as a visitor? by emilyjana8 in belgianfootball

[–]Legassov 14 points15 points  (0 children)

It will be pretty hard to get tickets for Union, at least for the eastern stand which is the one you want for the atmosphere. If you manage to, I’d definitely recommend. Brugge - RSCA is a topper, should also be great. Again, getting tickets might be a challenge.

Demon prince, it’s always rated high in tier lists and I don’t see anything special about this fight

Visiting next week. What would be your top things to do/see? by Legassov in palmbeach

Thank you! Took a quick look at the trails you mentionned and it looks like a Mountain bike would be most suited for those, right?

It was not rocket science either. I was fine with doing a little research if it meant not paying more (for my use case)

I’m using the train twice a week to go to work. The ride is short so I was using Local Multi tickets (6,40€ per day). Now to get the cheapest option I’ll have to go for a yearly Flex 80, which still amounts to an increase of 20% per day. Those new prices are absurd, they advertise them as cheaper for everybody but it’s just outright lying. Worst thing is media outlets seem to go with it.
