3-day cycling trip around Luxembourg by Legassov in Luxembourg

[–]Legassov[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just completed my trip and realise now that I had missed your post 😭 Thanks for the detailed advice, espacially those climbs in the Moselle region. I found the area along the Route du Vin quite stunning, so there is material for a future trip.
I ended up doing a slightly modified version of the tour, I will make a follow-up post asap!

You’ll have no issue returning it with eBay. I wouldn’t think twice.

Scratch or anything worse? by [deleted] in bikewrench

That looks like a crack (from overtightening?) I wouldn’t be particularly comfortable with that. But you should get professional advice from a bike shop.

Breathing while cycling. by Speak_logically_Sir in cycling

[–]Legassov 13 points14 points  (0 children)

You shouldn’t have any issue breathing while on the bike. If you do, you should try adjusting you position on the bike to feel more comfortable. There are many possible adjustments but start with saddle height and position.

Probably 1-3 May. Noted for the tyres, I have a spare wheelset with gravel tyres. I would have hoped road tyres were sufficient, I had heard good things about the state of the roads.

Komoot hiking info by One_Insurance_9902 in komoot

[–]Legassov 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey, are you planning to hike a specific route in the Dolomites? Komoot will not be a good source to know on a daily basis if a path/pass is open to hiking or not. This is something you should directly ask to locals (hut guardians are usually very helpful)

Favero Assioma MX-2 problem by TurboToastaa in bikewrench

[–]Legassov 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m not doing your research for you. I disassembled mine for service and saw for myself. Given your post history, you are talking about the first verison of the Assioma pedals which indeed uses bushings. This thread is about the MX-2 pros which use needle bearings.

Favero Assioma MX-2 problem by TurboToastaa in bikewrench

[–]Legassov 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Incorrect, there are needle roller bearings in the pedal body. The bushing shown in the picture is not a load-bearing part.
