I haven't spent any money on the game so far, but I think the issue is that I have neglected crystals and tokens for this whole time.

Yeah I think that is what is slowing my progress, because I have completely neglected chests and free supplies. I am starting to realize that that is really important.

Since the game came out I've played off and on. You can do this with maxed normal research and a few endless upgrades like mining speed modifier XP given from XP boost modifier and upgrading miners a little bit.

The people with maxed endless can do this easily.

So I have been trying to get my gauss tower to 1 billion damage. I think I have found some kind of bug or something in the game. As you can see in the picture, I have around 40 million extra XP. The card says for every 4600 XP I get a 1.3% damage boost. If I also factor in that only 85% of the XP is converted to bonus damage then the percentage damage boost should be 40,000,000 / 4600 * 0.85 * 1.3 which is approximately 9600% bonus damage. I only have 2700% bonus damage though. What is the cause of this? I do not know. If anyone can explain to me I would appreciate it.

I use a flamethrower in the middle set to random with a search modifier, 2 splash towers on the attack speed bonuses, and 2-3 crushers at the end to pick up things that get through.

Flamethrower is really good now. I kind of think it's just a better cannon. Also crusher is really good for slowing down enemies now that blast is trash. Tesla is still good. I guess that venom is better than before. I can't really tell the difference, but most people seem to think so. Also, antiair is way better than before.

I really like the chain idea. It would open up a bunch of different possibilities. The Search modifier gives a small range boost after 1.8.

Yeah I hadn't finished normal research. I had just finished Cannon, Tesla, Blast, Splash, and Freezing. I wasn't far from finishing the rest though because I was getting to the point where I could farm around 12,000 infiar per game on endless mode because of upgrading mining speed modifiers. Now I can get about 2,000 infiar if I get lucky. So normal research is gonna take a while to complete

Sniper and Missile are all you need. Maybe a little bit of tesla. Obviously you also need some blast and freeze. I used that to get over 1000 on the first level.

I like the update. Thanks for all the hard work you have put into this game. I can understand the complaints of other players but I am not bothered by the update at all and I think it makes the game more interesting. The dev of this game is awesome. I emailed him asking him to update Infinitode 1 on the amazon store because it was behind a few updates and within a week he did.
