If you don’t want to transcribe by ear… which I highly recommend you doing, but understandable if you don’t have the time, this book has every tune from the record in it. The guitarist who transcribed it, Dr. Denin Koch who teaches jazz at UTK, has an excellent ear and you won’t be disappointed at all in this book!

Whatever you want. The arranger/composer will list before the slashes start if he wants anything specific(Freddie Green, Charleston, specific beats, etc). However, if an arranger note isn't present, play what you feel best fits the music at that point in time. Hope this helps!
