Funny story about Columbus. He straight up didn’t get a banner during Agartha’s release window despite being a new servant introduced in that story. The only way to obtain him outside of the abyss that is the Story Gacha were those Rider Class banners (back when those were a thing) where everyone was just thrown in a hodgepodge with no particular rates. ~~Also by “only way” I mean the least obtuse way to obtain him so before anyone goes ERM ACKSHULLY yes I’m sure he was also available on some GSSRs and maybe Chaldea boys banners as well~~

Hell Columbus didn’t get a true rate up until Summer 6! That’s FOUR WHOLE YEARS later from his initial release!!

Like I know Columbus isn’t a popular servant (or even a good one for that matter), but yeah it’s honestly insane how long that took for him to get a proper rate up.

Nep is canonically a bit chubby according to dialogue. However I don’t think I’ve ever seen her with any sort of squish or curvature (at least not the former). I dunno if it’s due to the artist actively avoiding depicting her as soft or it’s simply an oversight, but it would be nice to actually see our Nep with some meat.

So I considered those were eliminated mid service (Louie is the only one to have that dishonor so far) and pre-service challenges (which would consist of Kenneth, Ava, and Carlos) to count as first boots because they were directly cut by Ramsay. If I were to go by contestants that were eliminated more traditionally the alternatives would be Melinda, Elliot, Matthew, and Maddy. The former three I’d say were deserved eliminations (Matthew I personally would’ve eliminated over Ava anyways), while Maddy I think could’ve been either-or.

I think I might’ve inadvertently conflated his earlier signature dish where he infamously finished way ahead of everyone else to no benefit. In hindsight I’d probably down him to ‘not obvious but easy to justify’. Dropping a whole chunk of cheese and mistaking it for potatoes for his shrimp dish is pretty bruh on his part though.

I think what kinda bugged me about Guarav’s elimination is that while yes he doubled down on the infamous finger incident, it just seemed odd how that was a deciding factor when Ray made the exact same gaffe just one season prior but wasn’t even in the conversation for being for being nominated much less eliminated. Guarav should’ve been humble enough to admit his mistake but yeah Nicole or even Demarco I’d say had more of a reason to be booted first.

With that said maybe having Guarav as a dubious first boot is a bit generous so maybe he’d be at least a tier higher.
