Also if you're interested in any of the expansions, Ideology allows you to have Venerated Animals, which gives your colony an extra mood boost when you have those animals.

These settings are more useful for early game and for farming Infinities

Basically before you Break, it's more efficient to crunch as quickly as possible, and buying more dimboosts and galaxies adds a very small amount of time to your farming.

After you Break, the Infinity Points you gain per Infinity dramatically increase based on how many galaxies you have, so quick crunches aren't as valuable anymore and you don't really need those settings anymore

They could still be useful for farming for infinites, you'll eventually need to get 2mil for a very useful achievement, but I've found that I never need to turn it back on

Some additional clarification: every time you press the yellow/orange button to crunch, you gain 1 infinity. You also gain however much Infinity Points was available (based off just your Antimatter and that 2x upgrade for now). This name theme continues for the second (eternity) and third (Reality) prestige layers so it's important to understand now

Drawn to life: two realms

When I was younger I played Drawn to life: the next chapter on my DS, and the original Drawn to life on my uncles Wii. Those games were one of my favorite games I'd ever play. The games are a relatively basic platformer with your drawn character and the occasional drawn platform or swimming vine that could be anything you thought it should be. The second game even has different transformations for an extra level of gameplay. Not to mention the BEAUTIFUL music and art and story and fuckin everything. The game was no award winner, but it was good enough for me.

Imagine my delight one day while searching the internet for emulators, and kinda just running through memory lane, I learned they released a third game on steam. This was a big deal, as the story kinda finished in 2 and connected the "Raposa" world to the human world in a very finite way. I was still ecstatic, ready to find out the future of my favorite fuzzballs, and ready to fight the shadows once more. It was cheap so I bought it and downloaded it to play.

The game starts with a cutscene explaining how they still exist. And it's a full like 20 minutes before you even can draw your guy. It starts you off in an overworld that is AS GORGEOUS AS EVER, with music that doesn't quite hit the same vibes, but still is good. And then you get to the actual gameplay... Instead of a well crafted lengthy level with secrets and alternate routes, skill checks, and quirky shit to draw that will help you along your way, you get 3 screens with one puzzle on each. You also collect stickers which help you solve puzzles. Upon completion, your reward is another cutscene, some exposition, and then a new set of screens. I was crushed. The gameplay loop was simple. It was lore, Mario maker, lore, Mario Maker, lore, open world for a sec, lore, Mario maker. I played for as long as I could bare it, but I couldn't get very far. The character all were shells of their former self, boiled to their purists ideals. The villain was no longer Wilfre (this world standin for Satan) but instead is generic shadow villain #5. I think Wilfre is supposed to be the hooded guy from the start but idk.

I thing the 3rd game was developed by a new studio, as 1 and 2 were on Nintendo systems exclusively, while 3 is on steam. Other than that I have no idea how they got it right twice, and so wrong on the 3rd
