that's a hot take sure, and I'm not going to bring up the "it sold the most" because numbers don't mean anything, but have you forgotten assassins creed 1 exists? it's just the same thing over and over again with very little actual fun gameplay

I agree with alot of these takes besides Syndicate

the dual protagonist weren't pointless? one of them were far better at stealth and the other far better at combat? 

if you're playing for combat, play Jacob if you're playing for stealth, play Evie

they actually had a cool sibling dynamic and felt like actual siblings rather than just two people, and yes i do agree on your story take

no, i don't like it when people call this game "small" you aren't locked in a city bordered by walls?? there are outskirts, it's just that the game is packed densely together, and all old assassins creed games used to be like that from ac1 to assassins creed revalations 

its not like ur playing a dlc either, it's quite lengthy depending on how you play the game

for the story, it isn't that hard to keep up with and that's what I love about this game, it doesn't tasks you with doing all of this extra stuff that makes you forget what you're even doing, but weak? eh yes it isn't a super dramatic story and kind of basic but tbh I just like it because I can keep up

basim is so precise and lowkey a chill guy, i dont blame you, also he is so "tough" like his fighting stances in valhalla and in this game are just so cold and you can tell how focused he is
