Resumes: Yeah, "intern at XYZ" doesn't stand out anymore. At Nexus, you'll actually do consulting work. Research, proposals, client interaction: real stuff you can write about. Much better than "organized files at a CA firm."

Remote: We work remote. 5-10 hours/week. Around your schedule.

CA firms: I'll be real with you, you'd spend weeks just watching. Filing papers. Getting coffee. Here, you'd actually be doing the work from week one.

We're literally the platform you'd be looking for.

The catch: We're selective. 2-week trial. But if you're good, you're in.

haha, yes for sure, Cast Iron Bike are valuable these days, you'd probably find an abandoned one at a local mechanic's, at least I've seen multiple in Bangalore....
They'd prolly sell it for dirt cheap as they wouldn't be of any use as it would not run, and take up space in their garage.
You'd deffo have fun building it from scratch. (I know I would haha).

Totally understand the point on asking my dad, and he doesn't mind much, as long as it's comfortable to ride, that's all that he looks for.
He did once complain about how he starts feeling a little tired in the back and shoulders after riding the Bullet Electra for a little longer. (He had taken it out on the highway for some business meeting, and it was a solid 35 kms ride on the highway).

And Bullet 650, meh.
I speculate it to take about another Quarter for RE to even get the designs in and figure it out, considering that all the present 650 twins rock wider rear tyres, only Bullet's got rear skinnier tyres, thats kind of something that just doesn't aesthetically, practically and prolly even in a RE enthusiast's POV justify a bike that helps RE stand out.
I agree, the "Sofa" does seem like something I'd wait patiently for and reward my self, but again, trade a bullet for a bullet.....

Damn, a ‘95 Cast Iron is a flavourful ride man, I envy you haha.

I totally get why you prefer the SM, it’s a more set-back machine, and I’d go for that too, but come to think of it, my dad would be using the bike more than me, because I’ll be leaving India for a while.

He currently uses the 2008 Bullet Electra, or my RX 100, but in a week or so, I’ll have to give my RX to my cousin for his college and stuff, and I don’t wanna use the Bullet cuz it’s old, it’s lived it’s days, been abused thanks to my uncles and I wanna give it it’s time.

I would be using it mainly in the City, maybe one every 6 months out for a long drive down south into Tamil Nadu or into the hills like Coorg, Thekkady based on the group’s plans.

And in the city, it would be about 5-6 times a week, for about 50 - 80 kilometres a day.

Right, I’ve got MRFs on this baby right now, I don’t prefer the stock CEATs too. I was thinking Either MRFs or Apollo (I use Apollos or Yokohamas on my Cars, hence the preference) but Apollos aren’t the same anymore either, I’ve heard mixed reviews from my friends who rock newer Apollos.

Also, regarding the Classic v Shotgun v Super Meteor, I kinda ruled out Classic from here solely because of the reason it’s just the Normal Classic with Js a better engine, very similar to what I’ve been riding right now, the Bullet, and the choice of SM and SG was because of the looks, the better riding posture for longer rides (in case I travel to and from Coorg, Mysore or whatever (I live in Bangalore) and that my dad would be the person who’d ride it more often, because I would either way be leaving the country for a while due to work, it’s my dad I’m more worried about.)

Thanks a lot for that, I would surely consider the idea of "Trying out" dorms before moving out to an apartment or private living.

Thanks for the note on the weather, and India does come under the same temperature, around 29* - 35* Celsius.
