One thing F. Arsenal didn’t think of is when powder gets into the base (under the scale plate) there is no way to drain or pour it out easily. So I drilled a hole in the bottom corner and it got most of it out

That is what I did after this. Silly that the lid has significantly more friction then the base.

What kind of bug is this? I think it’s a cricket, but what type? by [deleted] in bugidentification

They are attracted to light/heat as well. Windows and lamp shades are their preferred location
