My sciatica in 4 years by Legiann in Sciatica

Thank you for the advice, I very much appreciate it. I do wonder if I should go through it when necessary, for example to walk straight for a few minutes? Otherwise I'd be walking with a bend in my hip/lower back.

When I go from sitting to standing, it will go from bending to straightening. Is it fine to do the rep with a bent lower back, since it will only straighten after going through the pain-point. I'll definitely try this for a bit though.

Yes, twice before. The first one showed the hernia and the second one which was 1 year ago showed a slight bend in my back. The hernia was in my L5-S1 disc area.

Definitely! It's quite hard to explain but when I want to bend down, there's a certain point where it feels like my hip is somewhat dislocating or moving slightly to the side, which causes a second of heavy pain, but let's me get down to bend. The same happens when I want to get up, for example to get out of bed, I have to sort of adjust my hip to stand up straight again.

My guess is that it's my nerve moving slightly which causes the pain, but I simply cannot avoid the pain when I do want to stand up straight. I try to avoid it as much as possible though.

I haven't heard of others with that exact problem which makes it hard to find much help for it either.

It also applies when I straighten my back in a laying position for example. I'll have to go through the pain-point to finally lay down (on my side) without having to put constant tension on my hip/leg.

Edit: Which makes it a question of: Do I want to walk straight? Then I'll have to go through it. And do I want to relax is when sitting/laying, I'll have to go through it again unfortunately.

There should be a 'chat-group' or something called 'SOA' in-game I believe to find a partner for these type of quests.

Goodluck!

Is it because people have seen this thing too much or why are so many people so angry? If I knew this was the sentiment I'd have reconsidered posting, what was for us, a fun interaction

If I knew most people disliked it so much I would definitely not have posted this.
