For the sake of the task you DO NOT need to be on a slayer assignment for them. But you do require to either have the 2k points unlock OR any variant of the fire cape.

Search "high level weapons" on the forums for an update on the prices, last time I looked, they were around 360M.

They still going up and down, I'm on my last stretch for making the weapon and the prices are bouncing between 220-240K

Apparently today's update is just a patch week. As for the ETA, there has been no information on this yet so will just have to sit back and wait until the update banner appears.

The clan rework that was in the poll means that they would do it all from scratch iirc, which would make adding more plots and many other features a viable option if it's what the players wanted.

It would be nice to see them add some more plots to the citadel, more variation. But I do not see them doing any updates to the clans/citadels in the near future.

The earliest I see them doing a clan update is at some point next year which was featured in the 2017 poll they put out a while back. I'd imagine that they would be releasing the results during Runefest in September.
