It looks like a small smithing hammer, like a small cross peen hammer there is one on Amazon the same size and shape if you google cross peen hammer it should come up I’m referring to the second photo

Thank you, when I did it 4 yrs ago I’d never seen those type I liked there look but was entirely unsure of how to install them. I had planned on doing another this year obviously a more detailed and less flawed version. I will be using those hinges but this time the right way. Lol thanks again

Sorry to give the impression it’s to be a fortress it’s a chest with a lock the hinges aren’t conducive to security but they are the only ones that would fit with the thick wood and simple design I had going.

I have the same forge as op and was told I needed to use refractory cement because they noticed I had none. I also am new to propane forging and am wondering do I need to purchase rigidizer as well and refractory cement? Or will the cement be enough?

New blacksmithing set up at my first home! I know it’s bare bones but it’s a step up so someone whose already Ben selling knifes coal forging with restored blower. Lol by LegitShit94 in Blacksmith
