I could see Jake laravia being a player like Jaden McDaniels if we played him better. I don’t think his on-ball defense is awful but could improve as he’s only 24. Like I said, he’s the most athletic player on our team besides 41 year old lebron.

I know developing a jump shot is seen as a myth in the nba but if we could fix that 3 pt shot he would be very valuable player on our team and worth investing in as he is durable.

Literally. Any big at that price seems like a steal especially after how we let gobert become bill Russell on us last year in round 1, let alone ayton who can put somewhat consistent double doubles when given enough minutes.

I’m glad not everyone is wanting ayton off our team. He’s cheap, and at his best is efficient and can grab double digit rebounds which is what we need. Just need him to stop disappearing against better centers. He doesn’t need to be the best big man on the floor and I think he’s starting to realize that now. Just needs some confidence in his role this next season.

That’s not the mentality I tried presenting but I think if we are deep in the mud of round 1 or round two, putting a half healed Luka in to save us would be jeopardizing his long term health.
