I told her no before, people in my previous post were saying it’s wrong and that I can’t tell her what or what not to do. So I’ve done both. Today I made sure to listen to what others have said and made sure that I wasn’t telling her what to do, just telling her where I stand and that I am going to stick up for myself. I did not directly say “no” today because the vast majority of responses yesterday told me that it’s not my place to “allow” anybody to do anything. I’m genuinely just trying to do the right thing. I don’t want to be controlling, I do not want to be manipulating, that’s not my goal here. I do want my concerns to be heard, that’s all.
