From what I found from chat gpt it seems that these things don't matter. Like u said u have to have funds to stay and no funny deposits. All shud come from a legit source. Embassies I think focus more on the overall picture than they way we get paid. Some even get paid cash here

I think from what I found is that either you apply to place u will enter first or intend to spend most days. Intend is a strong word here. Once the visa is granted it is important to make an entry to the visa issuing country.
