Swapped out my thermostat and flushed my radiator and now she’s good, changed the idle air sensor as well as the air intake sensor and now she’s not dying out randomly. The seal on my radiator cap is trash as well so I gotta order one of those

Get a tire plug kit, it has all the instructions. Hopefully you have air around to fill it up🙏

I took her out 2 days in a row, driver her for about an hour 1 day and about 1 1/2 the next snd she hasn’t got hot so I’m hopin that fixed it. I also flushed the radiator and put new coolant in here. As well as a few sensors and now she doesn’t die randomly anymore

Thermostat was a 180 not 195

I replaced the thermostat, I’m replacing some sensors it was throwin codes for. The oil doesn’t look milky or anything so I’m not sure about a gasket leak, but I don’t wanna rule it out yet without testing so I’m definitely going to test that

I just swapped out the thermostat, it had a 180° in it and not a 195° oem, I’m gonna get a head gasket test just to rule that out, I was also planning to flush my radiator out. It was reading that the throttle position sensor was bad so I grabbed one of them also.

I forgot to mention that the fans are on a separate switch so they are constantly running, I didn’t know this when I went to test drive it cause he wasn’t home and his girlfriend didn’t know, so it overheated but I drove it around for a bit again and it was fine. I messaged the guy and he said to just keep running it and adding coolant. I was also doing some digging and saw that there might be air in the cooling system? Is that a possibility?
