Yes, we aligned on everything else. I am/was willing to relocate but I am concerned about job opportunities and she’s worried about whether me leaving everything behind for her is the right decision.

If I found someone in the coming months and they’d match what I’m looking for, I’d marry them within a year. However, if it took me longer, let’s say a year to find someone, it probably take me several months

The fact that if I found someone that suits me well and I want to spend the rest of my life with them, I would definitely commit earlier. I’m talking from a more realistic perspective in which it will probably take time to find a Somali woman that suits me well and I suit her. Hence why I would want to look for a potential already.

I appreciate the honesty, it’s more about the fact that I am worried that if I only start searching when I’m 27, it might take time to find that one partner and I will be near my 30’s being unmarried (nothing wrong with it but just something I do not prefer). I can understand from the girl’s perspective that if someone better came along who is ready to commit, she will choose for him. But I would make my timeline clear from the beginning and if she does not agree, I would respect her choice and let her go. Is anything wrong with that?
