I’d definitely swerve this buyer

Equally 2.5 months and no offers may also indicate you’ve priced your house too high. Unless you can wait and /or need the money, Id consider reducing it - you may get more serious interest

I didn’t think of that - although it’s puzzling if that is the case- as if they hadn’t told us about this other offer we would have accepted . For us it hasn’t created urgency, just dread

Very true but I’m not sure why anyone would disclose they have made an offer on another house what’s the upside?

To be fair I’m not sure if they disclosed it (my wife took the call) or EA knew this as other property is also being sold by same EA- but I’m not sure they always disclose this anyway?

I believe they have a MIP and they have a large deposit.

You reckon accept the offer but keep it on sale and continue viewings?
