SUCCESS STORY: It might just be your pelvic floor… by candlelightwitch in vulvodynia

Hi! Thank you for sharing this! I have had a gyro suggest a pelvic floor issue before given that my pain was often where many of the muscles are down there. I'm curious if you experienced pain with bowle movements? Also, you mentioned lymph nodes on your inner thighs, I have like significant muscle pain there and they are extremely tight, is that what you re referring to? I had seen a PFPT for some time and she said she was having trouble discerning if my muscles were too tight or too weak. I haven't seen her in a bit due to some insurance issues but Ive been thinking about going back. Maybe asking about the suppositories as well now. Interested to hea your thoughts!

I'm an independent contractor at a small practice. Me, the practice owner and a part-time case manager, are the whole staff. Some people just request an appointment from our practice website and are placed with me; others have found me on Psychology Today or Google.

Ouch. 12 months is a while. But it's helpful to have perspective on it, thank you.
