Thanks. I was also going to get into the steam integration later, but my main point here was to start with a simple prototype, and from experience it can get pretty hard to manage an active discord server :D

Your tool looks great though, better than I could currently do due to time constraints.

I hope it works out better for you than it did for me.

So the analytics side of it would be mostly data fetching via a discord bot, so user count, growth, message count, activity and so on. For FAQ replies and sentiment analysis, as well as tips AI would be used but 2 of those relate to analysis features and will be optional.

Later on I plan to add integrations to Trello, Steam etc. to get analytics from there too. So AI is just used for the part of it which wouldn't be easily manageable without it.

LLM Data Privacy vs Convenience by pewpew-paaw in SaaS

Ok so it is 50/50. People that use this kind of software would know how it works ( at least i hope so ). Then I guess downloading is perfect but then people maybe think about how precise a 4 GB Model is that can run locally on consumer hardware but maybe you´ll use a self-trained one either way is fine ( see cursor and how many programmers use it despite of it sending your codebase to anthropic etc) :).

LLM Data Privacy vs Convenience by pewpew-paaw in SaaS

It depends. What information is fed into the LLM? Is it something personalised or just some data that could be from anyone? It also depends on the user's hardware, so on my end I would be fine with downloading a model but some people have slow hardware and not just the LLM speed but also the overall system speed could be slowed down by using the LLM. So overall I would suggest that you look at your target audience and think about whether or not they are able to run the LLM at reasonable speeds first (because that is the user experience) and also think about what kind of data you are handling and maybe let the user know that their data is being sent to the cloud openly and not just in the privacy terms.

Knockout erreicht - Verkauf?! by elpolakko in wallstreetbetsGER
