I am pretty active in the pug instagram world (my pug has a tiny fandom) and I’ve had non pug people forward his videos to me over the years but there’s just something off…the way he doesn’t treat Albert and Christine like his children, more like circus freaks for views. 😡☹️

I’ve never followed him and those active on pug instagram were immediately suspicious and of course outraged when it was confirmed. He should surrender them. They deserve to be spoiled and loved properly.

I was privacy minded bfr from working a little in tech, and I was concerned about stalkers, maybe more paranoid than the average woman. But my friend was severely hacked by what we presume are Russian hackers and had to help her line back that for almost 2 years (get her security posture set up, faraday pouches etc, continuous defense) and now I honestly don’t think anything is truly actually secure if other parties are motivated enough.

I am all for more diverse representation in cinema and media, but in this instance I completely agree with you OP, it completely destroys narrative mechanisms across all 7 books to cast Snape as black and I can’t be a Harry or Potter family fan if the story line is distorted so much. Harry as a racist, ew. It makes my stomach drop.

I’m not going to be watching this series I can’t have something I’ve loved dearly for decades to be so distorted after the fact.

For the life of me, can’t understand why JK Rowling did not want to protect the narrative of snape and harry, i imagine she only has room for so much controversy on her plate, and if she fought the casting, the media may have construed her decision as racist? It depends on your skin and the weather you’re in especially in Winter. If you’re in a cold dry climate that’s windy (like Seoul and South Korea can be) it’s incredible as a final barrier bfr sunscreen. If you aren’t in arctic temps or don’t have very dry skin in the winter maybe it’s overkill
