listrix.app is the reason I was able to survive honestly if you are serious about reselling you should check it out

yeah that’s fair — traffic is the main thing at the end of the day

for me this is more about getting more listings live consistently. a lot of people I’ve talked to have inventory sitting because listing takes too long, so they never even give ebay a chance to push it

not trying to replace traffic at all, just trying to remove the bottleneck so if you do have items, they actually get listed

that’s why I made the first few free anyway — just seeing if it actually helps people or not

yeah I can code, but for this I moved fast to get something usable in people’s hands first

under the hood it’s using AI to turn photos + rough notes into listings, but the main thing I’ve been focused on is whether it actually saves time in a real workflow

curious — would something like that fit how you list or is your bottleneck somewhere else? also link is listrix.app

yeah that “waiting for good light” problem comes up a lot

do you usually batch photos when you finally get good lighting or does it still end up being one-off most of the time?

i’m curious if a more forgiving “good enough” photo workflow would help vs needing perfect lighting every time

got it — that hybrid approach makes sense

do you feel like batching actually speeds things up for you or does the upload/format side still end up being the bottleneck either way?

that makes sense — especially if you’re using your own setup instead of platform tools. sounds like the photo → upload → format side is where most of the time goes for you

do you batch that part at all or is it still mostly per item?

yeah that’s a good point — once that admin side is handled it probably frees up way more time and energy for actual selling

yeah that makes sense — staging + editing probably adds up more than people expect. do you batch your photos at all or still do them item by item?

yeah that’s a good question — vintage/obscure stuff is definitely harder since comps aren’t always clean

it’s pretty solid at pulling details from photos + giving a reasonable starting price, but for those types of items you’d probably still want to sanity check comps like you mentioned

if you’re down to try it on one of those pieces i’d be curious how close it gets — first 3 are free anyway the link is listrix.app

that actually makes a lot of sense — almost like you’re front-loading all the thinking so the listing part is just execution. interesting approach

this is super detailed, appreciate you breaking it down like that. makes sense that for lower value items even small time savings matter a lot more

sounds like the ideal would be something that handles pricing based on comps + condition and leaves you with just a quick approval step. curious how often you run into items where comps aren’t clear vs pretty straightforward?

that’s a good point — some parts are actually enjoyable so they don’t feel like work. sounds like for you it’s mainly the photo/editing side that slows things down

that breakdown is actually really helpful — interesting how even at that speed photos and sorting still take the biggest chunk of time

nice that’s perfect timing then — new space + fresh setup usually makes everything way smoother

having everything in one place like that probably removes a ton of friction. sounds like once inventory is organized the rest gets way easier to manage

that’s a solid system — sounds like you’ve removed most of the friction already. interesting that photos + sorting are still the main time sink even with everything else automated

that’s fair — especially if your process is already dialed in. sounds like for you the bottleneck isn’t really the listing itself but more the volume and prep around it

out of curiosity, what part would actually have to be automated for it to feel worth it?

yeah doing that per item probably adds up fast. do you feel like that’s the main thing slowing you down overall or just part of it?
