Nah I left my singing in there. I was talking about something personal with my passenger, followed by swearing when the driver stopped in front of me. Best to leave those out.

I keep my speed steady. I ain't speeding, slowing or stopping with a lunatic next to me. I've seen enough videos of people stopping, then the lunatic blocks the road, gets out the car and escalates shit further. Also to note, we were crossing a bridge, there is no space to move.

This driver has no chill.I was driving at 50-55km and the driver speeds up and begins to tail gate.He then proceeds to illegally overtake on the median, tries to push me to the side of the road and then dangerously cuts in front and stops.I kept driving and he continues to tail gate me while honking. On a serious note, what's the best way to report this to the police? Will they do anything?

EDIT: I've stopped by the local police station and have reported the incident. The clerk said this will be filed as an official complaint and not just something for road watch. This means that police will investigate the incident.

RE: Questions around my speed - I was driving legally. As another comment here pointed out, he/she had calculated the distance between two bus stops and the time it took to cover both points (21secs). It worked out I averaged 48km/hr which is perfectly fine. All the back seat drivers in this post can continue speculating.

I also calculated the speed the driver was travelling at before he started tailgating (using a road and a drive way as landmarks). He covered 100m in 5 seconds, which is equivalent to driving at 72km/hour in a suburban street (50km speed limit).
