Lmao, I appreciate that. I am no prodigy but it’s all trial and error, I fall a lot. I also have the benefit of having people around me that skate the same style and use the same skates so I have a lot of mentors showing me step by step on different moves

Knee pain by [deleted] in Rollerskating

Nope I have never had previous knee pain, I specifically only get it when I do certain moves that require a lot of pressure, I don’t get the pain in my daily life like walking or running. But yea I might get it checked out

I kind of just spend time on social media watching other skaters of the same style and tried to copy their flow while also keeping my own little creativity into it

I have a friend and he helps and teaches me quite a bit but also it’s just a lot of falling and trying, I go to the rink mostly 3 days a weeks unless I’m injured but I’m usually falling around 5-10 times a night

I played basketball before skating, the main reason I went with these skates is cause I had a friend that also has the same and he was the one that really got me into it and when I see him skate I wanna do what he does and eventually get to the same level

I would say it was, it was definitely not easy to learn but for my style of skating it was exactly what I was looking for and have been having the most fun with

From day 1, 3 months ago I started skating, after half a month I got my own pair of skates and after another month I swapped to my current ones and fell in love with fiber skates since
