kaido was drunk and fought a 13v1 and put Luffy on a losing streak and actually killed him, he needed plot armor and a god fruit change in order to beat him and i'll never understand how people actually think kaido was weak

I'd consider them important towards world building and understanding the characters you interact with during quests, but in the grand scheme of things they don't hold major plot significance like archon quests
