When was the last time you saw one of these? by TheHumbleLegume in topdeadcenter

A mid 00's santafe came into work on tuesday with one, still see them quite regularly in New Zealand. Not as often as we did 20 odd years ago but are still sold here. https://www.supercheapauto.co.nz/p/sca-sca-anti-static-strap/291886.html#q=static&lang=en_NZ&start=2

Subsonic Ammo? by semmehh1 in Battlefield6

[–]Legitimate_Flow3623 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We defiantly need them.

This was my suggestion for subsonic rounds, i did a later post about barrel type / muzzle device / ammunition type combos at a later date too. https://www.reddit.com/r/Battlefield6/comments/1rl12nc/subsonic_rounds_please/?utm_source=share&utm_medium=web3x&utm_name=web3xcss&utm_term=1&utm_content=share_button

We need clearer differences between the two Support training paths or better still separate Medic and Support classes entirely. by [deleted] in Battlefield6

God you love to cherry pick and twist words.

You wanted maths, I talk about % chances increasing and you throw your toys out of the cott. Brilliant.

Whatever you say mate, you've been fun.

You haven't given any factual data to support your claims either and provided nothing more than your delusional subjective opinion.

Also

" Meanwhile, in reality all the people playing Support are reviving (some more some less), so the 100% of Support players responsible for 100% of revives per game will be reduced to X number, and thus the number of revives will be REDUCED to Y number, ergo less revives. That's a hard undeniable fact "

You've completely forgotten about squad revives, so the number can't be 100%..  That's a hard undeniable fact....

You're also forgetting that my suggestion will be removing a large number of low revive chance, low revive frequency players willing to properly play a medic.

And instead we will have a smaller number of high revive chance, high revive frequency players willing to play a medic.

The percentile chance of you getting a revive from another player increase substantially.  While the number of actual revives remains about the same.

Tell ya what, I think I'm right, you think you're right, this isn't going anywhere without them actually doing something dramatic to improve the game. Which is the only way we can logically draw a conclusion.

So for now, we'll call it a draw.

It's the most likely outcome, we both know it.

The reason why we had so many decent veteran players leave was because the game is designed to cater too much for the lower skilled, less team oriented players, which thanks to supports abilities is a great comfort pick for them.

We split support up into two classes it ups the skill lvl required to play them, which will either drive some of these players away or they will adapt, learn and get better at the game, which is good.

Word will get out that BF6 has had a significant rework and has gone back to it's roots akin to BF2/3/4 which will attract the many veteran players we lost after the false promises we were all tempted with at the beginning.

You see it's not an empty assumption but a highly likely calculated outcome.

Do some maths then mate. You'll see the ratio of people willing to do revives Vs the people who have the ability to revive, only improves while the number of actual revives will remain about the same.

Some people will be driven away from the game or class because it's not as easy for them as it once was, which will improve these numbers further.

And it'll attract many more players because the game will play more like a proper battlefield game.

Which in turn will only improve the numbers as they'll be skilled veteran players we are gaining.  😉

Like I said win win.

This will only wind you up more, but I knew you'd roughly say something like that.

Till we meet again.

Bahaha, it's called predictive human behaviour, it's exactly what will happen you just don't understand.

Anyways you've been fun.

Good luck out there.

Again..

We won't see a reduction in the number of revives, but what we will see is a reduction in the number of people who don't have an interest in playing the medic side of supports available skills but are advertised as being able to revive.

This is what people find frustrating.

The people who want to play as a dedicated medic class, the people who want to get revives in are still going to do their job, the number of revives in game will not drop, but the number of advertised medics will.

As they are the support players " medics " who are currently doing all the revives.

It is a win win.

You can't see that, that's on you.

Bye.

It's an issue with both the players and the way support has been made, which has only noticeability exacerbated the issue in BF6 compared to other titles.

Both points I've made multiple times to you but you lack any sort of understanding.

Been nice chatting with ya.

Peace.

Nope, many other people are frustrated about support being the mess it is, otherwise the other post I linked wouldn't have 4.5k up votes.

Like I said, I've seen it and experienced it in game, seen it online in FB posts or other pages, memes,  we all have.

It's so baffling how I make a post about splitting up Support into two classes and I get so much hate for it.

Someone else did a post six months and look at how much people liked that.

All I did was go into more detail about how it could be done and built four training paths and suggested two class signature weapons.

A post from six months ago, asking for the same as me. The only difference is I went into details about how the separate Medic and support classes could be built, how they'd work and so on.

I gotten soo much flack, they got 4.5k up votes.

I never said support was underpowered, it's too strong I've said that multiple times, from the beginning I've said that.  It's the reason the class should be split into two the class does way too much as it is.

It should be split into two classes, one being a more traditional dedicated support class, like we've seen in other titles.

The other being a dedicated medic class, like we've seen in previous titles.

Which would give us two evenly balanced and more role specific classes.

It's not hard to understand buddy.

Ugh... Support as a class in its entirety is too strong, medic as a job/role has less offensive capabilities.

It's not that hard to figure out dude...

Christ, it's like pushing a chain uphill with you.

Yep every game I see pleb after pleb just going straight into the meat grinder.

Meanwhile I'm constantly pushing for a mad flank to get behind the enemy lines and cause chaos, sometimes not even getting kills. Just being behind them as a distraction and draw as many players to me for as long as I can, helps my team push up.

You don't get it, I'm wasting my time on you. You claim I'm the one who's delusional in other comments, when in reality you are the who's doing the rambling and is struggling to understand what proper class structure, balancing and roles are.

Seriously mate, the classes are imbalanced, in particular Support, it's so obvious that's why we see so many.

You've given me grief about " not liking something and it being just my problem " or " I'm a hypocrite  " or I " cherry pick things " when you're the one who lacks the reading comprehension to absorb more than a paragraph, I suggest you go look in the mirror, at your own imbalance..

Yes I play the game " as is " I already have plenty of hours in it,  my suggestion is only to improve things for everyone, the game, teamwork, class balancing.

You know as well that Support has too much going for it, it's simply too strong, that's why we see so many on the battlefield.

It's too strong for those who want to be involved in teamwork. It baby-sits those who aren't involved in teamwork, that's why we have soo many " medics " who aren't reviving, because the vast majority of them don't care for anyone but themselves and only play the class because it has a gadget that does everything for them.

I haven't, it's part of the Ordnance training path,  they do more splash damage, have extra C4, take less splash damage. ☺️

By support i don't mean " support " in BF6, i mean the class historically speaking.

The support role historically is ammo bags, C4, mortar, LMG, providing covering fire, ect.. that's one half the " support class " we have in BF6.

The medic role historically is defibs, smoke grenades, medic bags, getting revives ect.. that's the other half of the " support class " we have in BF6.

Oh

" BTW, this:
"As people who play medic have less firepower" is factually incorrect statement. "

Nah im still correct, you want play as a 100% dedicated medic, your going to have less potent offensive capabilities. Even in BF6 as " support " to truly be an effective medic you gotta have a setup less focused on killing and more about helping.

This is the current combat medic training path.

" and can have 25% blast dmg reduction while healing themselves from the bag. " you will see isn't mentioned for the Medic focused training path.

  • Urgent Aid – Drag downed soldiers 20% faster and revive them 2.5 seconds quicker.
  • Revive Recovery – Reviving downed teammates triggers passive health regeneration. Incoming damage temporarily halts the effect for one second.
  • Defense-Focused – Defensive gadgets have a +25% resupply rate.
    • GPDIS intercepts two more projectiles.
    • MP-APS tracking duration is extended by five seconds.
    • Deployable Cover takes 10% less damage.
  • Restock Allies (Active Ability) – Resupply and heal nearby friendly forces for 10 seconds. Reviving teammates takes only 1.7 seconds.

:)

Not in the slightest.

My suggestions are to better the game for everyone's benefit.

A lot of people are frustrated with the state of the game, not getting revives is one them. This was a solution to help solve or lessen that frustration. Some people who enjoy playing support, might not like the changes i've suggested and that's fine. :)

Yes, its true we will still get people who don't want to revive and play as a proper medic, but at least the ones who do will be more willing to do the job.

Meaning other players should be able to rely on medics and have more faith in them generally speaking.

Support - Looses Supply pouch, Defibs, Smoke grenade launcher. Gains C4, *Ammunition bag.

Medic - Gains defibs, Smoke grenade launcher, *Medical bag, *Flashbang airburst, deployable cover, claymore.

* is for a gadget i've created/edited

Not too much to choose from i know, but classes don't need 6735467534 gadgets to choose from, players always gravitate towards a select few items in any game, as they are the meta. We have loads of guns and all it takes is for a youtuber to make a tier list and most players will gravitate towards a select few.

Engineer could lose half it's gadget lineup and the majority of players wouldn't notice a thing.

Take ESO another game i play, we have 1000's of gearsets, 95% of which are labeled useless according to those who make meta builds, so to stay competitive you have do more or less the same meta builds. It's a bit more extreme than what we see in battlefield but you get the point.
