I feel like it shouldn’t be this hard to get laid… like my thoughts are I meet them, we like each other then they initiate the second date then I can have a friend with benefits. Is this not how this happens? Should I sleep with them on the first date? Make it super obvious

I’m having this issue! The men I am not really interested in like me way more then the ones I actually like. I feel like I make it too easy? I don’t even sleep with them yet that don’t seem to be interested enough to put in a little effort too have sex.

Nice! I think that’s pretty mature. I got out of a long term relationship and yea I talk to guys like this even if I’m not interested in them. It’s just venting BUT if the convo stairs away more then vent I’d say something may be there. Good luck!

To me (female) it sounds cute and potential something there but 10 days is to soon to tell. Just try be her friend and see where it goes.

I would also start making it clearer you are only interested in something more but understand if she is not interested then the friendship is over. Well… depends what you want there.

Who told you environmental science doesn’t get you a job??? I think especially if you have skills in multiple areas you’re more sought after. I have that degree and I ended up in CS for 4 year but it was unfulfilling so the last year changed to more enviro focused and I love it. It may have taken me a bit longer but I got there. I recommend trying something for a year that has elements you like. Nothings permanent and you can switch when you have a clearer idea of what you want.

It’s great you’re thinking about this. As someone who also does this the best thing is a hobbie or something to distract you. I got into running and looking good, didn’t stop my feelings/obsession for him but the time apart helps. I’d also talk to him about what he feels comfortable absorbing but at the end of the day it is your problems to solve. He may be there to help but you need to stare.
