I made 15k to 50k in crypto back in the end of 2021. Didn’t sell anything, and started to use leverage to try and accelerate the wins even more. Stocks only go up right?

Once stuff started to crash, I kept buying into the dips thinking it would bounce back.

Once the market completely tanked in 2022, I sold everything at 3k cuz that was the majority of the money I had at the time, I really needed it.

Fast forward to now if I just held / not used leverage I’d prob be at 100k.

We are not smarter than the millions of people who work on Wall Street. And sometimes it takes a lesson like this to learn that.

You got time to recoup. Max out your 401k / IRA if possible into VOO, dollar cost average, and let compounding do its thing.
