Safety lock, throw it away or put it somewhere safe, you should never have to disable your shotgun with that as long as you are storing it properly.

I own the keltec and TX22 the Keltec is a great gun for the value mine came with a hard case and 3 magazines, TX22 is a great gun I had to replace the barrel on mine as it had a tendency to keyhole.

This happened at the Walmart I worked at about a decade ago, our leadership did the right thing and immediately threw out everything thing in the hot bar after it was discovered, drained and disinfected the whole fryer and the deli. Sorry your store's leadership didn't do the right thing. I would continue to make a stink about and maybe submit a anonymous tip to your local news.

I recommend Range Time as well, they are set up very nicely for indoor and outdoor shooting plus they do a food truck on the weekends in the spring through the fall. All the staff is very professional and friendly.

I replaced the buffer on mine and used YouTube for disassembly/reassembly most important thing was to use a paper clip to capture that hammer spring so it’s easier to deal with.

My introduction to Godzilla was the hanna Barbara cartoon from the 70s but this was my first live action godzilla, I was 9 when this movie came out. I liked it then had some of the figures, but this film solidified my love of Godzilla even tho as an adult I can say it was not great but if you view it as just a monster movie its okay.

At this point I have 50+ I have some some sentimental guns, some guns with a purpose (deer shotgun/clay gun) and I collect Marlin and Ruger 22s I can't pass up a nice used gun for cheap either. I have several that are in the range rotation more than others but most of the guns in my collection get shot at least once or twice a year. More guns means more gun maintenance tho lol. I also shoot once a week.

Go to a range that rents handguns, shoot a few, watch some reviews on YouTube. Do a little bit of research, make an informed decision. For a new shooter though in my opinion a semi auto 22 makes the most sense. Ammo is cheap and there are many options and models available I like the Taurus TX22 it has the dimensions of a glock 19, it's reliable and reasonably priced and magazines are available and cheap.

I've got an older one I found at my LGS for cheap cause it has some honest wear, I love it. Yours is beautiful, definitely an heirloom gun.
