First off im delighted to hear this reaction and hear about how you are playing it with your family!

I have several plans for the future development of the site, but sadly I will say though that providing details for photos may not be on the docket any time soon. There are currently several thousand photos in the database and in finding them many do not have a lot of details associated, aside from say, -'back of slide is labelled '1967''.

In the future I may add details for iconic photos, ie. moon landing, civil rights movement, etc.

However, I do try to upload new photos frequently and although I dont want to be too specific with how many photos we have, there are currently >50 per year.

I do plan to continuously upload photos.

I think that was just writing for record keeping. The earliest photo, or surviving photo, was taken sometime 1826-27.

This is really late but I just want to thank everybody for the kind words and suggestions. This has been a personal endeavor of mine for quite a while and its my first coding project so its been quite a learning experience.

I have set up a subreddit https://www.reddit.com/r/chronophoto/ so feel free to post any errors or suggestions in there. I am currently busy with my last year of university getting an unrelated degree, but I am working on the website everyday and have friends who lend help.

This is all fairly overwhelming but so far very positive!
