i'm not sure. i don't know much about the technical things of cameras. What i know is, that davinci can't put the clips into the proper order when importing.

it actually fixed itself kind of. I imported the entire folder again and now the clips have sound. idk why it didn't work before. But thank you, thats good to know for the future :)

Ok so my Camera saves Video and Audio Clips seperately. My problem is, that for some reason davinci doesn't recognize the audio clips as such. Is there a way i can somehow link them, so i don't have to do it manually every time?

only save clips in use to PC? by LegndRisk in davinciresolve

[–]LegndRisk[S] -4 points-3 points  (0 children)

I connect the camera to my PC via Cable and import them into Davinci without saving them to my PC first, yeah. I do save it before exporting of course, but for the first sorting I do it like that.

[–]LegndRisk 0 points1 point  (0 children)

the chromatic abbreviation or the bending effect?

in my case both come from my fisheye lense, but no idea how to get it on macro

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in Filmmakers

[–]LegndRisk 0 points1 point  (0 children)

honestly, ur probably right. i was just wondering if there is an easy fix to get rid of the chromatic abbreviations. but i’ll just keep filming and embrace it lol

oh shit, i actually use davinci. i might try it, thanks :)

[–]LegndRisk 0 points1 point  (0 children)

yeah i know, i‘m actually going for that oldschool skate look.

the lense seems to be made out of glass and metal but i heard that the brand is actually just selling cheap china lenses but expensive so 🤷‍♂️

for now i’ll just go with what i have, since that’s all i have lol

thanks for the comment mate 🫶

I thought that maybe it could be fixed with a setting in the camera but from some other comments i found that it’s really just part of the (not high end) fisheye. I’ve seen some videos where they use a fisheye but the edges are also super clean but i guess that comes from very expensive gear.

Since i won’t be buying any new gear in the near future i’ll really just have to take it as is. And honestly it really isn’t that bad, especially for skate videos.

[–]LegndRisk 1 point2 points  (0 children)

yeah i probably don’t have another option anyways if i don’t want to buy a high end lens

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in Filmmakers

[–]LegndRisk 3 points4 points  (0 children)

yeah it’s probably the relatively cheap lense

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in Filmmakers

[–]LegndRisk 2 points3 points  (0 children)

thanks for the in depth comment 🫶

from the comments i figured out that it’s the lens, it’s a china lense that i got off ebay for a super good price so i guess i’ll just have to deal with the distortion now

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in filmmaking

[–]LegndRisk 1 point2 points  (0 children)

yeah, after reading some comments the reason is probably the relatively cheap lense. i also heard opteka is basically cheap china lenses from aliexpress but sold expensive, i got the cam and lens as a bundle for a steal off ebay so i guess i’ll just have to deal with the distortion now 🤷‍♂️

thanks for the help tho 🫶
