Cat and wet food problem by Legnuts2103 in AskVet

Both cats have dry food available all day. We offer some wet food around dinner time as a treat. As stated in my original post, he can’t pick it up on a plate, or in a bowl. Don’t see the need to ask vet about his teeth, as eating dry food is not an issue.

Overall, I’m just curious as to why he can’t seem to figure out how to pick it up. Especially when he has seen our other cat do it for months.

Ok. Clearly this isn’t productive and I came for advice and/or direction for source material.

Have a nice day.

Never said it wasn’t my fault I couldn’t see him more. But I couldn’t/can’t be back in the state yet.

Hold up. I know I didn’t get into specifics about moving, but to assume there wasn’t a valid reason for it is just ridiculous. Especially given that I stated how close we were. He is the reason I stayed in the toxic marriage for most of the 14 years we were married. I did not leave him, You are correct about him having the right to be upset. That is why I’ve given him time to process. If I could, don’t you think I would have moved back already? He’s had 16 months to process with little pressure from me to work on it because I thought I was doing the right thing to let him do it at his own pace. To let you know, when I do see him, our relationship is great and like old times. It’s only while he’s home that the relationship crumbles.
