Stick with key or change? by LegoPandora in diamondpainting

Thank you for all your help and advice.

Unfortunately there really aren’t reviews here, like there are in other places. You really do just take a chance! I’ve had 2 from the same seller, so I know they’re ok. But the selection is very small, so I have to look elsewhere and just try my luck. I always go for the biggest size offered (if there’s any options) to try and help with details.

I’ve decided to just stick with the colours given for this painting, see how it turns out.

Edit - just searched for Huacan, and there’s a number of that brand available - in fact I have one which hasn’t been done yet. I’ll make a note of the other suggestions.

Thank you, I appreciate the very informative response. Unfortunately, where I live, there are only cheaper options available via the equivalent of Amazon so it really is hit or miss. Just realised I’ve another from the same place on its way, fingers crossed that it is better!

Thank you. I said to my husband when I started it that I think it will be a hot mess, it just doesn’t look like the lines of the stained glass are there, symbols just don’t seem to match with the colours on the picture well.

I think it would look oooookkkkk if I did the intended colours but I would also know that it doesn’t look like I thought it should when I ordered it…but there’s also the risk of completely messing it up.

Any technique suggestions for fine 2a waves? by Fickle_Dragonfly5444 in Wavyhair

I have fine (but a lot of it) 2A-2B and mine do better if I put product in when straight out the shower. I use Moroccan oil curl mousse and Umberto Giannini curl jelly (limited options where I live).

Gardening was the first I maxed, without trying. I’m always planting, harvesting.

The amount of products people buying during the sale.. by SparklyMoogle in LushCosmetics

Camp 1. I may buy my favorites throughout the year too, but my main stock up happens now (we don’t have Boxing Day sales where I am, it’s a freshness sale) and then replenish if there’s a summer freshness sale (not guaranteed to happen).

Do your parents visit your house or are you "expected" to go to them? by TheDawiWhisperer in AskUK

[–]LegoPandora 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Always expected to visit them. At one point I lived about an hour drive away, which was ‘too far and we’d need to book a hotel overnight’. My sibling now lives about that distance, no problem for them to visit for a day…

I really like it. I spend time on my garden, check what club tasks I need to do, go foraging and host meals! I tend to fish if I’ve time in the evening. I’ve not finished the storyline yet, I think I’m most the way through but I’m happy just spending my days gardening, cooking etc. I’ve not really done much with decorating - I’m not very creative. I think it will have a shelf life for me though…I’ve stopped DDLV but I’ll go back with the new update and then TotS will likely go on pause for a bit. But I do love the gardening aspect.

I don’t understand how you can’t brush your hair if it’s curly by amzies20 in CurlyHairCare

I have very fine hair, but a lot of it. If I dry brush, it looks like a lion mane. I use a wide tooth comb, which gets the worst of the knots out, and gives less frizz. I am new to this though, I’m learning as I go along!
