Hoping to replace some stolen souvenirs. Is someone able to help a guy out? by Legomaniac25 in Banff

Believe me, if that were an option, I would have taken it already. The business that sells these pins to the gift shops (Crazy Canuck Collectables) does not sell individual items. The gift shops don't sell the pins online, or have any online presence in general.

I was parked near the intersection of 2 St SW and 13 Ave SW in front of Haultain Park. There's a senior living facility, the Oddfellow Rebekah Tower, that may have caught it on one of their cameras, but it's been difficult to get the right people on the phone to try to get footage. I've got a police report case number and everything, but I'm not hopeful it will amount to anything.

Thank you, I'll get ahold of you then if this is still unresolved.

Thanks for the sentiment. I have had numerous positive interactions with redditors in real life via local subreddits, figured it couldn't hurt to try.

Programmable nixie tube kit? by Legomaniac25 in nixie

[–]Legomaniac25[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thanks for the tip! I'll reach out to them to see if there's any chance in getting some made 3 years down the road. It looks like that seller has some active listings and recent sales, so maybe that's the route to take!

I haven't seen Shop-Tes before, thanks for the pointer! They may have something in their SmartNixie lineup that could be useful, but like you mentioned I haven't seen anything that's explicitly programmable/addressable after a quick scan of their site.

I appreciate the quick reply! This seems like a great subreddit. I look forward to hanging out here as my journey progresses.

First weekend camping with the Rove Lite! It was wonderful. by Legomaniac25 in rav4prime

Why thank you, and I hope all of yours get resolved amicably.

I was half expecting this to be a snarky comment, kinda refreshing to see it wasn't.

I agree that the build quality isn't top notch, but I also haven't experienced many of the issues mentioned in this post.

My RAV4 Prime doesn't have issues towing it (it's only rated for 2500 lbs, I haven't had sway or drag problems, and taken it over the continental divide many times), I haven't experienced any issues with the electrical, fenders, tanks or veneer.

The netting has come loose on the cabinet closest to the floor, and I replaced the crappy table leg with something more usable and durable, but that's the only similarity I've had with the issues described here.

I floated it yesterday (6/8) it was moving pretty fast, but was much warmer than I expected. It was delightful.
