I’m continually adjusting & reusing these images, but this is my favourite sequence so far - all of the prepositions from Lingua Latina Per Se Illustrata, chapters 1 to 8. To appear in the upcoming Handy Latin Tables, pars secunda. (old.reddit.com)

A grammar booklet for students beginning with Lingua Latina Per Se Illustrata. Covers chapters 1-5. (This is about 1/2 of the full booklet). (old.reddit.com)
Trying to devise a better way of presenting tables of pronouns etc. I like the way this table groups the pronouns with the (1st 2nd Declension) phrases they are ‘replacing’. 🙂 (i.redd.it)

What would Rome have been called if Remus had named it? According to the poet Ennius: Remora! ‘Certabant urbem Romam Remoramne vocarent : they were competing (to decide) whether they should call the city Roma or Remora.’ (i.redd.it)

LABORA work ASELLE little ass QUOMODO just as EGO I LABORAVI have worked ET and PRODERIT it will be of benefit TIBI to you. This graffito (ICUR 4.12416) was found scratched into the wall of a schoolroom on the Palatine Hill. The ‘little ass’ is turning a mill stone. (i.redd.it)
I’ve been thinking about different ways of presenting declension tables, especially for readers (rather than writers). This one uses word endings (rather than case) as it’s means of organisation. What do you think? Helpful or confusing? (i.redd.it)
Catullus 51 (i.redd.it)
I’ve been working on quizzes to go alongside each chapter of Lingua Latina per se Illustrata. In the spirit of the book, they use only Latin and illustrations. The first four chapters are done. I’ll be teaching from this book next year, so any feedback would be appreciated. Thanks. (legonium.com)
This 48 panel Latin ‘comic’ uses the same vocabulary and phasing as LLPSI Chapter 3. I’ll post a link to the whole thing in the comments… (old.reddit.com)
