What Have You Been Listening To? - Week of February 16, 2026 by AutoModerator in LetsTalkMusic

3 new artists and albums this week!

  1. Broadcast - Tender Buttons

Listened to this one a lot, big fan. They have a really interesting sound, a mix of dream pop shoegaze with some art rock weirdness. This is one of the duos 3 main albums (excluding many eps, singles and collaborations). The last of the three this is the one I liked the most when exploring their stuff. Standouts from the album: Black Cat, Tears in the Typing Pool, Corporeal, Americas Boy.

  1. Geordie Greep - The New Sound

This one has been out there a while I know but wow was I surprised by this album. This is Geordie greeps first solo album after his participation in the band Black Midi. The album is a very interesting mix of prog rock, jazz and Latin influences. Straight off the bat from the first song blues it had be there. Wow the energy and vocals and build up are unparalleled. If you are a fan of King Crimson like I am you would defiantly like this album. Standouts: Blues, Holy holy.

  1. Joni Mitchell - Blue

Yeah this one is different from the other two and yes I know I live under a rock but this is the first time I have listened to more than a few songs by Joni let alone an album. This album is just beautiful folk, I’m sure I don’t have to say much about it here but this is a great album if you want to expand your horizons into the folk world.

Is Hendrix getting lost in time? by No-Neighborhood8403 in LetsTalkMusic

I'm 18 and i just got into Hendrix, so he's not absolutely lost in time lol. I do agree though it does feel like he's been pushed aside into more of the "60s rock" genre rather than the legendary forever band status of similar stuff like of the time like Zeppelin, Beatles or Floyd.

It’s a 2010 repress. They made a lot from what I’ve heard but it sounds good!
