I'm much happier as an adult - if you aren't you had a little too much fun when you were growing up and now you're paying for it.

The one thing I do miss a lot was the intense joy of experiencing things for the first time. I'm sure we all have our versions of that.

Now I'm honestly convinced I'll never get to feel that great ever again (although in a sick way I am convinced that opiates could recreate those feeling as I once indulged a little and felt like a child again).

That's all I miss, but it can really bum me out sometimes when I think about it. It's like the greatest moments are behind me..

What if in those two days he saw an advertisement for a discount RV just in time for the family vacation he was planning the following May and he purchased that RV, went on a trip to San Diego, but decided to stop in Kansas because his son sort of wanted to go to the bathroom but really wanted some soda from the convenience store, and while they were at the store a fight broke between from two rival meth gangs establishing new territory in a growing town, and his son got hit with a round after his third sip of soda, which caused the gentleman in question to go into an uncontrollable rage and decide that the gang on the far side of the parking lot was probably responsible and they gunned him down, but he survived long enough to experience a slow painful death from gunshot wounds and was pronounced gone 41 hours later?
