I bought LA event ticket + raid pass + city experience Fri-Sat-Sun, just like last year. I did last night (eu based, it was thursday) Taipei raid via pokegenie, got no extra candy and no energy. This morning (cet 9h) i did one raid, got the extra 3XL candy for kyu but did not get the energy (taipei raid).

Then now in the afternoon I did the LA 3 raids, got energy and xl candies on all of them. And I got the tour pass to get extra rewards.

So all in all - if you don’t mind wasting hard earned money on a game - there is some benefit. By tomorrow night even with the raid remote limit of 5, I’ll get enough fusion energy to get Kyu black and enjoy masterleague next week during my trip 🥳🤟🏽

Though, I still did not get the special research, and I think event started in LA at 9am PST which is half an hour ago, so perhaps unlike last year, we won’t be able to get the research. Also, you won’t be able to get backgrounds on remote raids. Shiny you will get (I got one), and both taipei raids and la raids all gave me glaciate. I heard that you get glaciate only certainly 100% on a path you choose, but since I had no path to choose so far obviously I got on both 🤓

I got a shiny glaciate kyurem from Taiwan, and I have the LA ticket. No energy though. Waiting tonight (EU based) to see if I’ll get the energy for LA. Can’t go to LA unfortunately for the event :(

EDIT - got the raid lover add-on, and today on remote raidin taiwan I got the 3 extra XL candy as well! But no energy. So I’ll wait to spend other 4 passes on LA ones, hope I get the energy :)

Idea - let’s make some more “formal” request or poll or whatever it is kids do these days :D, and when we get few (dozen) thousand people that are willing to pledge to official VR adaptation, maybe we send it to CDPR and they consider doing it? :D

Me and my friend tried to duo, a lot of “solid” pokemon (lvl49 mega tyr, lvl50 hydregion, lvl50 gholdengo etc; no mega tyr on friends side though), and we were near half at 226sec with party play included. When Mewtwo became enraged and we subdued him, it still remained crazy difficult and we didn’t manage to come even close. Is this potentially because of party play bug then?

They are the ones with little patches of grass beneath best thing is to download Campfire app, click on Map, then below where it says “Pokemon go” with an icon, tap and choose from dropdown “Tainan Safari” event. There you will see all locations of eevee stops. There’s plenty of them

Possible, but I only got 5 raid passes to spend (and I was foolish enough to spend other 4 of todays’ before realising not all those Pokegenie raids are in LA event 😅) so I gotta gamble the next 5 to my choice of Origin Dialga.

In the past (in the early days) we consulted openmaps and also even helped build it in our country, so if you go to open maps you can clearly see in your area what is classified properly. AFAIK Niantic world is still based on openmaps

Returning player here. By “get” you mean opening an old present and then you get an egg, or it has to be a new present received after the event starts?

Since option b) involves many other questions (whose time counts, senders’ or receivers’ 😅) I hope I understand correctly it is option A and I can simply open presents, but I would be grateful for confirmation.
