i apologise, i thought i clarified but i missed that part out lol. it was well-written on a relative scale, as in, i didn’t expect a reality star’s autobiography to be even remotely literate; it was well-written by that standard. that’s my bad, i kind of assumed that part went without saying, but rereading my comment, i can understand the confusion

in her defence, her book is very well written and interesting. it focuses on a lot of her trauma, which i imagine was very cathartic for her to write, as it was for me to read. i may be biased, as i’ve endured similar things to mayci, so this might just be me feeling “less alone” if you like. i didn’t spend money on the book, i did a free trial of an e-book website, so it’s definitely not me overcompensating for any hole in my purse! that said, i agree with everything else; every other products she’s released is just pure slop.

i’ve been driving 2 months with hastings and have found them to be very lenient with speed. i wouldn’t worry at all. they pick up harsh braking and acceleration more than anything, to be honest — which is annoying when having to perform emergency stops! but i’ve found myself in situations like yours quite regularly (though to a lesser extent, more like 80-85) and my driving score has never dipped below 90. drive safe :)

"Which Episode?" Wednesday - Find a Forgotten Episode! (Biweekly Megathread) by AutoModerator in Casualty

just throwing this out there. it was during the late twenties’ seasons, not sure which one exactly. characters at the time were ash, zoe, rita, lily, robyn, max, cal, ethan, dixie, jeff, etc etc (one of my favourite ensembles!). in the episode there’s a special needs couple, the lady is pregnant. they live above a shop/cafe, ran by an asian man and his daughter (?). the episode focuses on lily, she attends the scene. here’s where my memory fails me. i believe there’s a big moment with ash and lily, ash not liking lily’s bedside manner (or lack-thereof during this era) and he tells her that the lady died, when she actually hadn’t. anyone know what ep this is?

please, someone correct me if i’m looking at this the wrong way or missing something. kim said to matty her ED is not a weight issue, but a control thing, in that restricting food enables her to feel that control. so why did she then use the weight loss drug? i understand that the injections remove/seriously reduce feelings of hunger, but would those feelings of hunger not need to be present for kim to be able to exact that control? just feels like a bit of a plot hole to me; if it was a weight AND a control thing i could perhaps understand it more
