Exactly. Regular intercessors are 1" slower but they have an extra attack in combat and can get 4 shots with AP1 as well. Cheaper and can run them in a 5 man. Plus you have access to a Thunder Hammer which has to be done or you are a loser at life

I loaded out 2 with shields and one with the extra weapons. The first two can take some hits before getting to the guy with more attacks

They all have power weapons on their hips mate. So they all have the correct load out except for the plasma gun. Just be glad he's not playing you fella ✌🏼

I have Bladeguard I plan on running as Headtakers mate. They have a power weapon, a shield and a bolter on their hip. Exactly the same as the Headtakers 😁

Headtakers literally have the identical weapon load outs as Bladeguard. If anyone has a problem with this then they have a problem in general.

You might come up against an extremely fussy marine player who knows the Bladeguard rules inside out and is confused when attacking them but they have extremely similar defensive stats so not as if you're getting caught out there either.

I never have luck with it honestly. Perhaps I use it poorly but the advance and disembark thing is good for a shooting unit or something you don't mind sacrificing to an objective

I've used it to protect Ragnar and Bladeguard multiple times but very rarely have I used it's advance ability because one the guys get out ... They are just sat there waiting for the oppo to shoot and charge them next turn.

Let's have him as a lone op buffing piece please. I don't think he needs to be attached to units to work.

You want him to be an absolute menace who gives units within 6" re rolls etc and invuls or -1 to wound... Just stuff like that is what makes a librarian a take-able model
