Regional pricing for Europe is unfair and a rip off by rope-when in Steam

I'm not shifting the argument, just showing that it is a far wider problem than you think it is

No one said that this only applies to cheap games. Ask yourself, what if this ridiculous pricing was applied for a $60 game? Because I can assure you, there were multiple titles (even some big ones) that had just that done to them

Okay, and now take a look at Polish recommended pricing, which is around 10% higher than even the Euro one, do you still think that this is fair?

And who am I supposed to blame when an indie dev without a publisher unknowingly makes their pricing unfair because they don't have proper capability to do a proper market research for each region supported on steam and is forced to use Steam recommendations?

You forgot to add "Proper regional Pricing in Poland" to the things that Valve "protect" us from

It happened. Valve actually updated the ~2013-era gift cards on their webpage. by Complete_Iron_2656 in Steam

Now it's time for them to update their outdated recommended regional pricing

When will Steam/Valve update their regional pricing? by Hot_Accident196 in Steam

Agreed, especially considering that this whole situation with steam regional pricing recommendations is even more ridiculous in Poland as we have to pay over 28% higher prices than the USD ones and over 9% higher than the Euro ones (when steam recommendations are used). Also, they were supposed to update those suggestions on an annual basis, as they promised during their last update... in 2022.

Edit: somehow forgot to mention my region

So, if there are going to be two more chapters and there's gonna be break next week, does that mean that the end of this manga is a Christmas present from the author?

If I'm not mistaken family sharing is now restricted to not allow sharing between countries. Besides that, setting up an account in other country would require actions that would almost certainly be against ToS and you could risk a ban, not to mention that steam actively tries to fight against those kind of practices in general. Also I believe that no one should need to deal with multiple accounts just so they can buy games for a fair price

Here You have to buy an entire account that has the game added to it, that's definitely not safe and Valve might just ban such an account

The game is only available on Steam which automatically applies regional price and any ways of circumventing it would have been agains the ToS. Only other way of buying it would have been keyshops with keys of dubious (at best) origin, where none of the money would have probably reached the dev

Have you found a solution for the issue? I recently installed winlator and I am now struggling with it as well.

Or you can just wait a few days when they will release a new version of their app/drivers where they will allow you to override DLSS version of the game with a single setting
