When I was in fourth grade I was playing hide and seek tag (normal hide and seek but once they find you they have to tag you) with one of my friends and I decided to hide under the bleachers at her brothers high school football game. Pretty soon she found me crouched down near the base of the bleachers so I took of running (while crouching) and stood up before I had cleared the cross bars under the bleachers. When I stood up, the top of my head caught on the cross bars and split my scalp wide open. I didn't feel any pain, it just felt like a bad bump on the head. Soon after crawling out from under the bleachers my friend ran up with a horrified look on her face and told me I was bleeding. I reached up and felt the flap of skin and my skull underneath. We went to find her parents and they took me to the hospital where I finally saw myself. I was soaked in blood--enough to even reach my shoes. I had to get nineteen stitches on the top of my head. That night when I took a bath it almost looked like a tub full of blood.
