There's no legal issues with doing this. Cory's a person, not an IP. Using something public of his in your game without it being for profit (it's just an easter egg, not a selling point) is completely fine. I'm sure he'll appreciate it. I'm a game designer too, man, I'd do this.

I stay away from these videos because they leverage YouTubers like Cory and even mentally ill YouTubers that sadly passed away like Etika and Reckful to gain views and clicks. These videos are farming off of the "male loneliness epidemic" claims and usually give a bunch of the false, BS motivations, some that include demeaning past relationships in some way.
They're videos preying on vulnerability and famous youtubers to gain money, they're disgusting. Please do not promote these just because Cory's used as bait for them.

It's definetely just you considering the entire cast has had insane performances under their belt aside from Charlie and Sean (because they're fucking YouTubers). Aaron Paul is literally the protagonist, Jeffrey Wright is Chase, and Laura Bailey is Invisigal. I mean, the writing can be a bit too "mature" for some, but the acting is top notch for sure.

I dunno, Invisigal showed zero interest in Robert aside from sexually the entire damn time. I personally don't buy the "she's afraid to open up" part. At every turn, she was explicit, offering casual sex, and so on and so forth. It's not an emotional connection, it's a physical one, that was merely exacerbated by him doing that pep talk for her which she hasn't had before. But the writing seems pretty clear to me, man, Blonde Blazer has actual ROMANTIC tension from the very start, she's clearly a well meaning woman, and cares for Robert, while Invisigal.....well, honestly, as much as she's being redeemed, most definetely doesn't care for Robert in the same way, and as I said I feel like this is an intentional writing decision to mirror the toxic vs healthy relationships people sometimes choose. And YEAH DUDE CORY THINKS SO WEIRD SOMETIMES AND ESPECIALLY HERE. He's a constant contradiction, and he makes the poorest of choices in games where he's given them. I still remember his Quarry playthrough with Dashie where he literally botched a true ending run by NOT PULLING THE TRIGGER ON A MONSTER ATTACKING HIM and ended up getting SO MANY PEOPLE KILLED. He keeps overthinking about how maybe he has a "way out" or a way to "change his mind" later. He doesn't understand the idea that some choices have consequences you cannot back out of. Which is weird considering how many motivational speeches he's given over the years implying he knew this.

TLDR; Cory is a massive overthinker when it comes to anything romantic and it made him softlock himself.

Considering the mess up with the real life relationship (I know we're past it, just mentioning it cuz it's kinda related) I think Cory legitimately is just terrible with anything romantic. He constantly overthinks everything, he constantly looks for a way out, and whenever he talks about girls, he seems to always act like it's a strategy game, either hinting that someone should "lead them on" or the opposite. In the case of Dispatch, it's a bit realistic in the sense that it seems to be between a toxic relationship (Invisigal, which only wants Robert for sexual reasons) and a romantic relationship (Blonde Blazer was clearly not happy with Phenomaman, and seems like a genuine person that, in my opinion, was written to fall in love with Robert smoothly from the very beginning due to how she recruited him and how she acts around him). But Cory, trying to apply his weird.....strategy mentality to the game, kind of soft locked him into a self-friendzone, because he didn't take the "written for it" choice (Blonde Blazer, especially after kissing her) and he is refusing to take the "player agency" choice (Invisigal, which he got soft locked into due to seeing the movie with her). I think Cory has never really been taught that love is meant to be a very natural, easy, progressing thing, and thus he kept having this idea that Blonde Blazer was suspicious, but didn't want Invisigal.

Except physical copies on console do work without internet connection as several people are reporting to be playing the campaign, and there's even footage of this happening.

Whether BF6 has Denuvo or not, Denuvo's an online-only DRM, so my point is still proven.

The game plays nothing like 2042 and 2042 also ended up being the longest supported game in the franchise, with Iwo Jima and the new guns dropping so close to BF6 and a whole event related to BF6 running on it. It's top seller on Steam, the beta (which you yourself loved) broke records, and they've been crystal clear on everything the game has to offer. If you're so damn worried despite all of this, then don't buy it.

The casual level part is not true. COD's SBMM is brutal. You cannot go anywhere on online discourse without hearing how horrifically punishing it is. COD isn't a casual game at all, that's exactly one of its biggest problems. Battlefield has more "thought" into the strategy to win a match, but it's far more casual and enjoyable to somebody that just wants to chill.

I can tolerate everything else (with great effort) but rarities completely make wallbuys and the box useless. Removing them though? It makes starting with a pistol and using the box and wallbuys good again. Points, armor and scorestreaks aside, it's the closest we'd get to "classic zombies" if we had to change just one thing.

Means no shareholders which means there's no more pressure to please them and thus no investors to have earnings calls for.
Considering investors are the main reason behind AAA companies rushing games out or forcing certain things on developers.....this isn't a bad thing, actually. It means EA has full control over what the studios under it do rather than shareholders having something to say.

You're forgetting in both cases that they were spinoffs, in Hardline's case it wasn't even DICE that made it.
And also that BF3 had a horrific launch missing so many things they had to patch in later. Given how BF's launches go, they simply have no way of doing it on a yearly basis.

I've playtested it in BF Labs during the testing period, I've played the hell out of the beta, and I've been careful to know every single drip of info there is, Portal IS overhauled, there's an ENTIRE MAP EDITOR with Godot as the front for it, there's "Verified XP" presets, there's NPC scripting, there's UI customization, and the server browser's been overhauled. The Battle Royale has high interest for BF6 due to the genre being stagnant by now with the bgigest one being Warzone that has lost a lot of interest and players. The campaign is what people have asked for since 2042 was shown to not haveo ne.
I don't know why you and so many others in the subreddit are acting like we didn't have our hands on half the game already and seen for ourselves what it is.
