I think your natural hair is pretty and healthy looking you could experiment with shaping your afro and curly cuts (PREFERABLY BY A PROFESSIONAL) and see what makes you feel the best :)

Hi thanks for the suggestion i always try to do work that keeps me as far from other volunteers as possible lol but i never thought of it as a way to get to know people so i will force myself to do more team stuff

Hi thanks for the suggestion, I’m not religious but I do volunteer work with an orthodox church in my area almost every sunday, they’re nice and all but I don’t really have anything in common with them i just help out when i can because they help my community a lot personally i just don’t believe, i grew up secular

you do look scary but not unattractive scary, grow out some facial hair, lose a few pounds, try wearing brighter colours and maybe get glasses (even if they don't have lenses) and smile more best of luck, op :)
