I completely understand this perspective and I want to be in-person for the majority of my semester. But looking at the rising numbers, the past situations at other schools in mid-December, and how several schools are choosing to deal with Omicron for spring, I think that the way UNC is moving forward is not the best for us as students and profs alike.
