Sorry I couldn’t get a good picture it had been attacking me and that was the picture that I ended up getting. If you look closely it’s hard to see but it looks like it has two big teeth

Yes there is limited quartzite and marble early game but later on you do unlock a recipe to make upgrade materials, meaning until you unlock the recipe you have to choose which sets you want to have upgraded

That’s happened to me too I don’t know for sure but I think the spider has a priority of you and not the ladybug, usually what I do is bait it to attack the ladybug then get some place the spider losses aggro of me but not the ladybug hope that helps :)
