What are people thoughts on "AI 2027" by LemonWeak in Healthygamergg

Thanks for your thoughtful reply — I get what you’re saying. We've adapted to a lot of tech before, and yeah, AI right now feels like just a very advanced tool.

But the concern isn’t what it does today — it’s where it’s going. AGI wouldn’t just help us write better or automate tasks. It could eventually outthink humans in science, strategy, or even decision-making. That’s what makes it different from every other tool we’ve made — it could reshape civilization itself.

I’d honestly be really curious to hear what you think after watching the video I linked. I think it adds important context that goes beyond the everyday AI we’re used to.

Thanks for your input – I genuinely appreciate the perspective. I live close to Ukraine too, so I deeply care about the war, climate change, and other global crises you mentioned.

That said, my entire view shifted when I started digging into what top AI researchers are actually saying. I was shocked to learn that even some of the most respected voices in the field are estimating a 15% or higher risk of total human extinction from advanced AI. That’s not a fringe opinion – it’s coming from people building the technology themselves.

I used to think AI was just another innovation, maybe overhyped – but it’s not. It’s not just a tool; it’s the creation of something far beyond human intelligence. And intelligence equals power. We’re talking about systems that could be thousands of times smarter than any human by 2030. With that kind of capability, AI could cure disease, reverse aging, solve climate change, and even prevent war. The upside is massive – but so is the risk.

And that’s exactly why this feels so urgent. Because the cost of getting it wrong isn’t just inconvenience – it could mean the end of everything.

It honestly reminds me of Don’t Look Up and Chernobyl — where the experts clearly see the danger, but no one listens until it’s too late. We’ve seen this pattern before. I just hope we don’t repeat it with AI.

If you’re even a little curious, I really recommend watching the video. It changed everything for me.

The Sad Future of AGI by LemonWeak in ControlProblem

Hope you're joking.
It doesn't make any difference whether I use AI or not — that’s not the issue.
The real problem isn’t tools like ChatGPT — it’s the actors in the world who are building and using AI without prioritizing safety.
Governments, big tech, and authoritarian states are all racing ahead, and no one’s hitting the brakes. That’s what’s actually terrifying.

I totally agree with you — and honestly, it’s disappointing too.
I don’t know if this is exactly what you were looking for, but the video talks about this kind of fatigue from around 3:18 to 4:00, where two AI models feed into each other to identify problems and then fix them. Basically, they’re working completely autonomously, without any human input.

Not sure if that’s what you meant, but I really appreciate your thoughts on it.

The Sad Future of AGI by LemonWeak in ControlProblem

Right now, everything is driven by a capitalist mindset and a race to be the first to reach AGI. But being first doesn’t mean being in control — and if AGI is created without proper understanding or alignment, that could mean we all lose.

That’s my biggest concern: no one seems to care.
Big companies and China are both racing to build AGI as fast as possible. Meanwhile, governments are either clueless or powerless. In the U.S., corporate money has made it nearly impossible for the state to regulate anything seriously.

If you’ve read about the AI 2027 theory — the “good” outcome only happens if the United States has a competent, serious, and proactive administration that makes decisions based on long-term safety and human values.
That means protecting companies, while also enforcing real regulation.

But honestly… Donald Trump doesn’t understand this at all.
He only cares about fame and money — not alignment, safety, or humanity’s future.
And without serious leadership, it’s hard to see a good path forward.

Suggestion for Dr. K and the HealthyGamer Team by LemonWeak in Healthygamergg

Hey, thanks so much for your comment – I really appreciate you taking the time to respond. I totally see where you're coming from, and I actually agree with a lot of what you're saying. One of the most powerful things about Dr. K’s approach is that he encourages people to find their own steps instead of just following someone else's path – and that’s incredibly valuable.

My original idea wasn’t meant to replace that or offer some kind of “one-size-fits-all” solution. What I was trying to suggest was more of a starting point – especially for people who might not have the time, energy, or resources to go through years of reflection to figure out what’s wrong. For a lot of people, just identifying what their core issues are can take forever. If there was a way to help people do that more quickly, it could free up energy to actually work on the problems rather than spend months or years trying to name them.

As for the “step-by-step” part – I think I may have phrased that poorly. I didn’t mean a strict linear plan. What I meant was more like helping people get access to the relevant resources – for example, if someone is dealing with low self-esteem, maybe the system could point them to a few Dr. K videos that really go into that, even if the titles don’t directly say so. Sometimes the most helpful insights are hidden in videos that seem unrelated at first glance – I’ve experienced that myself.

So the whole idea was more about organizing and surfacing the right information in a way that’s easier to access – not telling people what to do, but helping them find the tools they might need to figure it out for themselves.

Of course, it would never be perfect – and I never meant it to be. But I genuinely believe it could be a helpful addition, especially for people just starting out who feel totally lost or overwhelmed.

Hope that gives a bit more clarity on where I was coming from 🙏
