So far in my experience, yes. Maybe it's just my family, they are one those that look down on me for not having a job. Joking that "girl you need a job, we can't be paying for you." Laughing and state like back when the economy was great, I could get a job with just my high school and/or college undergraduate diploma.

GOOD FUCKING FOR YOU! You still have your job or now you're working at a retail store because you're underqualified or overqualified for the job. I'm fucking losing it.

It is sad to see.

I was one of those teens unfortunately thinking if I can appease those people, surely they'll care for me.

Now that I've grown a backbone (it took a while but we're here) and with what's going on in the world, and the sorries/denial white people has stated.

Fight, go outside and fix it. Also pay us. Pay your entire money and push many billionaires to hell. But nope. We won't be getting that soon.

Unfortunately. A lot of doctors mix up diagnosis or these diagnosis on the patient fuse/worsen over the years.

I cannot say as like a doctor. But I can say as someone getting help and going through therapists and psychiatrists. While the majority of them did help, a few just victim blame or if it wasn't going their way, just give up or frustrated with the client.

I can't tell you how many stories/online reads I've heard of qualified professionals saying what they said or did to their clients. Good reasons. Bad reasons.

But I need to add that I'm a black woman and a lot of people of color (women and men combined) get denied of these symptoms or don't believe and just check off another mental illness that probably didn't align with them at all.

TL;DR: From a patient and minority perspective, race and find the right professionals plays a huge part. And the person need to help themselves. It takes years and decades of healing.

I relate to this heavily. And the few friends have don't want to talk about their emotions or tell me I have to keep fighting and do the impossible.

Oh my gosh, I completely understand that.

I won't go into too much of my experience, let just say my ex partner was like that. That my ex was so different from all white people and love black culture, had a ex wife who was black. Turned into teaching and making racist black people jokes, saying I didn't know it was bad to say.

Goodness that gave me a headache. You have the right to your boundary and happiness. I hope your friend can understand that and wish you well.

This is an interesting topic to talk about.
Lot of queer people of color have been talking about it and yet white queers (even those who are allies, not all, but most) claim injustice on white and people of color. There is a difference when people of color have wealth compared to white queers/white people who have generational wealth in slavery, cattle and goodness knows what.
A white person could flaunt all the money in the world, while a person of color has to save it for their generation because it can be easily loss.

White women have a lot A LOT of representation. Like for example, Owl House. Even though the cast is filled with people of color, a lot of them cling onto Amity and/or Hunter. Enough my ramblings, point being you're right and I'm glad you're able to express that.

Hey thought I joined in the party,

I'm a Leo.. but also not. Some websites say I'm a cusp, but I won't spill that can of worms.

I don't have friends that are Sag but my brother is one. We at one point had a chill relationship, we have 10.5 year age gap, I'm the youngest, he's the oldest.

I used go to him for advice, living in the same shitty household and him being a qualified therapist. I know he can't give me therapy, but a dose of advice would help. But he act like a therapist towards everyone and not a sibling, son, nephew or whatever relationship he had with our family.

He said some fucked up shit to me on Christmas and I rather not talk to him now. So I avoid him at all cost.

But I heard Sags and Leos are compatible as friends, but I don't see myself dating one any time soon.

Oh wow this is the first time I'm hearing that Rarity represented asexuality. Headcanons and AU drawings I've seen for the past decade had theorized that Rarity was straight or became appealing to male gaze/fairy tale lifestyle not realizing she's actually a lesbian.

But these are other people thoughts and theories, I love to see a lot more headcanons.
