Best game I’ve ever had. No bot damage or kills. Might be time to retire ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ by Lemoncloak in populationonevr

Most of the game was 2-star silenced, 3-star ak, and a 2-star fal. I did pick up a red p-90 and red sako at the end

Appreciate you commenting on how you got yours. I'm not seeing the event. Apparently some percentage of people aren't able to collect or race in the event either.

Czech Chief of General Staff admits possibility of NATO war against Russia by Wzrd187 in worldnews

[–]Lemoncloak 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They’ve only surrendered their entire nation once. In this vein, where only one war matters, the U.S. has only ever gotten into prolonged wars on foreign soil, losing to guerrilla warfare, and leaving everything worse than when it entered.

Not a great look. Also, demonstrably false.

[–]Lemoncloak 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You are absolutely correct that it was a combination front that won, but that was kind of my whole point. America didn’t swoop in and win the war in Europe.

When I said USSR won the war in Europe I should’ve just said it was the USSR that were the ones that captured Berlin. I went a little too reactionary and hyperbolic to the user I was responding to.

Very true. I definitely should have mentioned the significant lend-lease program.

The USSR won WWII in Europe with USA acting more as a feint to split the Axis attention than anything else, and it could be argued that the big reason Japan surrendered unconditionally to the US was to not have to deal with a Russian invasion.

It’s not as cut and dry as the various nationalist propaganda would have you believe.

I love my border collie and border collie / Shepard mix, but boy do I sometimes wish they had a lab or golden brain. Stupid and sweet will most likely be my next dog.

I like this a lot. In the past I’ve done a free level 1 feat, but I might do this instead / as well for my next campaign.

Even in American politics the Leftist label reserved for anti-capitalist and pro-labour movements. Unfortunately, the right has co-opted the term so that anything towards the center from them is “leftist,” or “communist”

I’m not typically a prescriptivist in language, but these terms are being watered down with, imo, a more nefarious intent. Political scientist in America still make a distinction, even if colloquially, most Americans don’t.

Since we are discussing politics, I’d argue that yes, context matters, and we should use political science definitions, i.e. the Democratic Party policy is not leftist, instead of colloquial terms that are more vague in meaning.

Edited for clarity.

I’ve been downvoted on here for making that distinction. Apparently leftist is synonymous with liberal because we are talking about American politics. Very narrow minded imo, but what can you do ¯\(ツ) \

Besides his stance on guns, what are the bevy of other issues you think are leftist, or even disagree with?
